Love this so much. Thank you @IamSandraOh for so intently listening to Catherine and validating her voice, experience, leadership, and ideas. #KQEDYouthTakeover@KQEDForum
If you tuned into @kqedforum last Thursday, you might have heard a segment on Asian American representation in the arts.
It was co-produced by local student Catherine Hou as part of @KQED’s #YouthTakeover.
@sffilm invited Hou to ask @IamSandraOh a question:
In 2011, my Administration made a pledge to prepare 100,000 new STEM teachers over the next 10 years. I couldn't be prouder to hear that @100Kin10 not only met that goal, but trained an additional 8,000 teachers who will make a difference for our kids. https://t.co/NI2J779IYS
@BethKellySF @SanFranciscoPTA SFUSD Chief Financial Officer Meghan Wallace, along with budget director Anne Marie Gordon and Deputy Superintendent Myong Leigh. Look forward to seeing you there!
"Engrave this upon your heart: there isn’t anyone you couldn’t love once you have heard their story." -Mary Lou Kownacki. Great conversation with @DenaSimmons at @CPBmedia #ThoughtLeaderForum about creating a community of belonging. #ThePowerOfStories#PubMediaEducates
@mayak46 There was a really interesting review of the first 3 episodes on @nprfreshair yesterday. Sounds like each episode moves further through time and away from the b/w 50s sitcom look. They gave it high marks. https://t.co/cv6xoS3jyR
9 days until the most consequential election of our lives. Californians can choose to end corporate tax loopholes that allow the wealthiest corporations to profit at our schools' & communities' expense. Vote by mail. Vote early. Vote #YesOn15
@harad We should open schools as soon as we can safely do it, starting w/ our youngest students and students with disabilities- who are all struggling so much in distance environments. We need to work with the city to address challenges, get creative, and work with health professionals.
.@SacBeeEditBoard is #YesOn15!
#Prop15 "gives Californians a chance to fix one of the most glaring errors of the past 4 decades: a massive tax break for wealthy commercial property owners who can afford to pay their fair share of taxes."

@lopez4schools This is disgusting and unacceptable. It is fine to disagree with people but this kind of harassment, especially of women of color, is way over the line. Sorry you and @AliMCollins are on the receiving end of this.
