Yet apparently we need 5 health and social care trusts and an ambulance trust with ever increasing layers of ‘senior management’ to deliver by far the worst health outcomes in UK.

So for all your GP services in NI we spend just over 50p per person per day (4.7% of the health budget) AXA health insurance starts from £1.49 and how often would that be called on? This is why access remains a problem.

At a time when we need to ‘shift left’ and move focus to out of hospital care, the percentage of total health spend on GP has significantly decreased rather than increased!!!.
