Does anyone else have students this year who are so unmotivated, and so uninterested that they literally can't even tell you what they want to learn about or what they want to do at school/outside of school? 6th grade. How do I work with this? I need help.

A1: Engagement is tied to interest- the best practices I have implemented have been those that minimize my talking, and maximize studentsโ reflection and purpose. This is different than just having them plan their own lessons- perhaps one could think of it as co-teaching! #miched
