It will never counterbalance everything else, but if I can take up two minutes of storage space on this platform with just dogs on a beach at first light, then I'm going to do that.
Last week, I was officially sworn back in as a Member of Parliament.
Some of my top priorities for this parliament include: increasing access to GPs and dentists, continuing to hold Thames Water to account, and finally getting the south-facing slip roads at Lodge Hill built.
Worth a read. Transcript courtesy of @mrjamesob excellent book. This is how UKIP sold us #brexit. This is what Farage and his supporters said to justify the single biggest act of self harm a country has enacted. Don't need to agree, just look at the election results.
And that’s 5 out of 7 Oxfordshire seats going @LibDems with @CalumMillerLD elected to Bicester and Woodstock. Wow.
There are NO MORE TORY MPs in Oxfordshire!

Caring isn’t just my family's story, it is the story of millions, caring for each other, dealing with tough times, and keeping going with love.
Sharing our story hasn't been easy, but it's important. It's time to bring carers' experiences into the light.
🔴 “The people of #Gaza can’t wait for our politicians to stop squabbling. Much of the country lies in ruins and Rafah, where many Palestinian families have been forced to flee, is under threat of a full-scale military offensive.
“Children in the North of Gaza are dying from hunger because no aid can reach them due to Israel’s continued assault and restrictions on access.
“An immediate and permanent ceasefire is the only solution to stop this devastating cycle of bloodshed, to ensure the safe release of hostages and to allow urgent aid to reach all of those in desperate need.
“Many MPs spoke passionately tonight of the horrors in Gaza and we thank those who raised their voices. The government must listen and support UN votes for a ceasefire and end the sale of arms to Israel.”

#CeasefireNOW
This is the third New Year's Eve I have taken the traditional family New Year's Eve photo with Photoshop. I am trying to keep up with the times, and this time I asked an artificial intelligence to draw me. I hope it turned out something fantastic - I will not see the picture myself until the letter with it arrives on Yamal.
"I miss you terribly" is a kind of incorrect construction from the point of view of the Russian language. It's better to say: "I miss you a lot" or "I miss you so much".
But from my point of view, it is more accurate and correct. I miss my family terribly. Yulia, my children, my parents, my brother. I miss my friends, colleagues, our office, and my work. I miss you all terribly.
I have no feelings of loneliness, abandonment, or isolation at all. My mood is great and quite Christmassy. But there is no substitute for normal human communication in all its forms: from jokes at the New Year's table to correspondence in Telegram and comments on Instagram and Twitter.
I terribly miss being able to argue with people who send stupid, identical greetings and pictures via their WhatsApp list on New Year's Eve. It used to annoy me, but now I just think it's cute. Imagine someone sitting down and sending everyone a couple of kittens with bobble hats under the Christmas tree.
Happy New Year to everyone.
Don't miss anyone. Not even terribly, much, or very much. Don't miss your loved ones, and don't let your loved ones miss you. Continue to be a good, honest person and try to be a little better and more honest in the next year. For myself, that's pretty much what I wish for. Don't get sick and take care of yourself.
Arctic hugs and polar greetings to all.
Love you all.
I have tabled a motion celebrating the securing of funding for the Lodge Hill junction.
I would like to thank the tireless campaigning by local Lib Dems to get this project over the line.
I will not stop campaigning on this issue until the first shovel hits the ground.

ALERT: Oxfam's colleagues in #Gaza have worked tirelessly with international media for past three weeks, giving hundreds of eye-witness accounts. They are now uncontactable and forced silent.
