Michele Hamm, Ph.D., is an enthusiastic health and well-being professional and Industrial/Organizational Psychologist that integrates well-being strategy with organizational design to enhance employee health and engagement.

Throughout her career, Dr. Hamm has designed, implemented, promoted, and evaluated a variety of health and well-being programs. She has created environments that not only supported employee health, but also integrated key operational departments, including employee benefits, occupational health and safety, and disability resources into program and plan design.

After spending nearly two decades in a variety of fitness, health, and wellness roles within the higher education environment, Dr. Hamm started BridgeWell Consulting, a consulting practice that develops unique solutions to help organizations create work environments in which employees thrive, by developing a sustainable culture of well-being that engages employees, increases productivity and retention, and lowers medical costs.

She lives what she teaches, health and well-being. She knows that she feels better and has a better outlook when she eats a well-balanced diet and is physically active. She enjoys playing golf, hiking, backpacking, scuba diving and running.

Today is The Great American Smokeout! HS smoking rates continue to drop, however, there is an increase in HS vaping rates, from 2% in 2011 to 20% in 2018, leading to long term nicotine addiction. Quitting nicotine use is extremely hard, today, support someone in their efforts!
