@hondo2003 I disagree that it is crazy, but even more so, I think it is so unfair for the Native Americans' to have not been granted citizenship until 1924! The Native Americans' have so much culture and roots that it is unbelievable they weren't citizens till 1924.

@hondo2003 @MumbowerMorgan The way of becoming a resident does seem more challenging rather than how it was in the past. I wonder what could have caused the registration to become a resident a bigger issue, thus leading to events taking place at the moment.

The people of Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project are unusual for the way they simply acted like everything was fine as they went hiking or skiing, not even giving a suggestion of the military working there. #Hist2260

From putting New Mexico’s histories in perspective, New Mexico alone can be considered a melting pot. There are so many different cultures here in New Mexico and maybe it’s from all the interactions New Mexico has had with the world. #Hist2260

While black students were integrated with whites in APS, they still were discriminated inside the class room as they had to sit in the back of the classroom and had to make a separate line. #Hist2260

@hondo2003 Not only did they tore down fences and land claims, but didn't they also burn down houses and barns? Either way, it is crazy how rebellious the Las Gorras Blancas were and how much of an impact they had for New Mexico!

@hondo2003 From this happening, it makes me realize how much of a struggle education is, not only in the 1880s but also, for example, in 1957 for the Little Rock Nine.

@hondo2003 From the Four Minute Men having such an impact, I wonder how different the war would have been if the Four Minute Men weren't there to make such an impact for the citizens of New Mexico.
