As a brother trying to escape poverty, stay away from a woman bankrupt in these areas: spiritually, financially, relationally and mentally. If she lacks in most of these, your quest for riches may unfortunately never be fulfilled.
If you never journeyed with someone through their pain, don’t expect to join them in their joy and celebration.
Knowing someone is one thing. Standing with them in the flames is another.
You don’t get to skip the struggle and show up for the victory. That’s fraud.
Avoid people who constantly criticise you, magnify your mistakes, and rarely acknowledge the good you do.
Take the constructive criticism, learn from it, and keep moving but distance yourself from people committed to only seeing the worst in you.
Protect your peace.
A man’s true grit is tested when every line of defense is gone - no job, no business, no family or friends to lean on.
When there’s nothing left to fall back on, you find out what you’re truly made of.
Brothers,
Be stingy with your monies. We do not owe women money unless they are close relatives, close friends or a special lady in your life. The rest can voetsek!

Excerpts from “The Art of Persuasion, The Making of Namibia’s Constitution” on defining independent Namibia’s border:
“Moses Katjiuongua struck a more defiant note: "I don't care so much about expressed will by the international community, but think as we ourselves understand it to be what is Namibia." Theo-Ben Gurirab articulated the most uncompromising position: "As Namibians we should define the territory of Namibia as being inclusive of Walvis Bay and the island and the southern border being the middle of the river."
It was Mishake Muyongo's declaration that would prove most prophetic and ironic: "Namibia is a state that abides by the principles of territorial integrity and rejection of secession", words that rang with conviction from a man who would, within a decade, lead a separatist movement in the very Caprivi region he now sought to bind indissolubly to the Namibian state.”
The book is out 9 February 2026
There are certain traits I can never tolerate or let around me
- A person that complains a lot
- A person that is negative
- A person that is doubtful
I maintain a 0% tolerance policy for such!
Either you ride the wave or jump out of my boat!
