Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but "I'll be happy when" is a moving target that has never once stopped moving. The "when" relocates every time you arrive. Happiness isn't waiting for you at some distant destination. It's waiting for you to claim it, today.

You literally have to decide that your peace is more important than their perception. The next time someone misreads your boundary as coldness, you have to let the misread stand without chasing them down to offer an explanation. Let them be wrong.

Stop glorifying the comeback without acknowledging what caused the fall. The systems. The policies. The conditions. The story of someone "rising from the ashes" is more powerful when you're willing to ask who lit the fire.

Everyone is waiting. For permission. For the perfect moment. For someone to go first. For conditions that may never arrive. But somebody has to move before they feel ready. Somebody has to start before the applause. Before the proof. Before the guarantee.

Be the anomaly.

Don't you dare forget that your rest matters as much as your work. The culture forgot. The economy forgot. Your calendar forgot. But your body remembers.
