Neighbours looking out for neighbours! 👀

Just before 2 a.m., a resident noticed a suspicious vehicle circling a neighbourhood near Greenbank and Strandherd, and, knowing a neighbour had a new truck, called police.

Officers stopped a matching vehicle nearby and found four occupants—three adults and one young person—along with an electronic device used in vehicle thefts, a replica firearm, masks, and knives.

All were arrested.🚔

Peu avant 2 heures du matin, un résident a remarqué un véhicule suspect qui tournait en rond dans un quartier près de Greenbank et Strandherd. Sachant qu'un voisin venait d'acheter un nouveau camion, il a appelé la police.

Les agents ont intercepté un véhicule correspondant à la description à proximité et ont trouvé quatre occupants – trois adultes et un adolescent – ainsi qu'un appareil électronique utilisé pour voler des véhicules, une réplique d'arme à feu, des masques et des couteaux.

Tous ont été arrêtés.🚔

OPS is asking for assistance to identify two men involved in a vehicle theft.

Overnight on November 14th, the suspect, along with another individual, stole a vehicle from the 900 block of Moodie Drive.

The suspects drove the vehicle in the Richmond, Bells Corners, and Stittsville/Kanata area before abandoning the vehicle in a parking lot on Bridgestone Drive.
