@RoadknightThe@OzraeliAvi He has highlighted their own shenanigans in real time. If it gets the law changed it’s a win, if it pushes votes the way they want it’s a win.
@DisrespectedThe I have four of mine which includes step parents and also a MIL. I’m 54. It is a blessing which most never even realise until too late.
Senator @DavidPocock is right.
Labor rammed through tax changes it had promised before the election never to make. Then they made them anyway. Labor lied.
None of it was properly thought through. Labor pushed the tax bill through Parliament without a proper hearing, and it shows. Ordinary Australians will pay the price.
Senator Pocock warned what it would do to people facing death, divorce or domestic violence. Your husband dies and, as you grieve, the government hits you with a tax. You escape a violent home and Labor taxes you for leaving. The protections Labor promised vanish on the worst day of your life. Some 680,000 jointly owned properties are now exposed.
The government promised Senator Pocock they would fix this in the very next bill. He took them at their word and stood down his amendments.
That bill arrived the same day. Nothing for widows. Labor lied again.
Labor knew their tax bill was broken. Jim Chalmers admitted it before the vote. Labor and the Greens rammed it through anyway.
Every prediction they made has been wrong.
They said rents would rise by $2 a week. Sydney rents jumped $50 a week in three months, 25 times their prediction.
They said house prices would grow more slowly. They’re now in free fall, and young buyers won’t catch a falling knife. Nobody signs up for negative equity.
They knew it would hurt widows. They swore it wouldn’t hurt anyone else. Now it’s hurting everyone: renters, homeowners, young people and widows.
The news is now full of widows being knocked back by banks while Jim Chalmers “rethinks.”
David Pocock and I don’t always agree, but he has been dead right on this. He shouldn’t have to fight it alone.
When the Senate returns, One Nation will support his amendments and do everything we can to help him right this wrong.
Labor never voted Senator Pocock’s amendments down. They dodged them with a promise they broke.
Another Labor lie.
@Soughanuna@krassenstein I agree, we have virtually no mass shootings here but plenty of guns still exist and get used in shooting people. Our last mass shouting was in December 2025. My point is stop fantasing that we have no guns at all
@Soughanuna@krassenstein Should we start sharing the daily stats for you from down under? We just don’t have the mass shooting stats to compare but there are still plenty of shootings here.
An actual Muslim political machine - “The Muslim Vote” - is now openly targeting Labor’s western Sydney heartland to seize seats, build permanent power, and eventually topple Chris Minns.
Their own words: they’re building “genuine Muslim political power.”
They’re fundraising next month with anti-Israel activist Randa Abdel-Fattah.
They’re furious Minns wouldn’t apologise after police stopped their men praying during the prohibited Herzog protests and now they’re coming for him.
Bankstown (32% Muslim). Auburn. Granville. They’re coming for these seats.
First they want influence.
Then they want a Muslim Premier calling the shots in NSW.
This is not “representation.”
This is organised sectarian power building in the heart of Australia’s biggest state.
Minns created the conditions.
This is a serious development in NSW politics.
@OtherSideAus Please please please bring the chainsaw. The new AML rules have me filling in forms verifying every client for their banks, for their solicitors, for their real estate agents, their investment bodies, & then I have to have forms filled for me. When do I get to do productive work
@Donsvess@KatieGrace2022 It’s not only unfair it’s impossible to rely on getting h correct in a tax return. Imagine trying to write the software to do that calculation let alone hoping accountants can do it manually correct, either way it ensures all returns would have to be prepared by an acct
