Relay Nodes Are Now Live & Earning

The Farebox relay network is officially active. If you're running a relay node, you're now earning a share of every AI request routed through the network no extra setup needed.

How it works

When a user sends an AI request through Farebox, the system automatically picks an active relay node from the pool and routes the request through it. Your node forwards it to the AI provider, streams the response back, and earns 80% of the routing margin all in real time. The more you're online, the more you earn.

Staying in the pool

Your node sends a heartbeat every 60 seconds. If it goes quiet for more than 5 minutes, it leaves the earning pool and stops receiving traffic until it reconnects. Just keep it running and you stay active.

Payouts

Earnings accumulate in USD and will be converted to $FBOX, then sent directly to the Solana wallet you registered with your node.

Getting started

Install farebox-node via npm, register your server endpoint with your Farebox API key and Solana wallet, then start it with pm2 to keep it running 24/7. Full setup guide at https://t.co/AyAMxUKv1r takes about 5 minutes.

We fixed a rollout issue on relayzero : SMS onboarding briefly returned ACCOUNT_ORIGIN_INVALID because origin trust was still pointed at only one old domain. We now allow relayzero with exact-origin policy and kept all security in place: browser encrypted keys, WebAuthn-bound recovery, signed SMS intents, one-time YES approvals, and hard spend caps.
