I had a dream about a person who is/was family. He joined a trail race and he won 1st place, half marathon I think (He does not trail run in real life). He looks so fit and healthy, much better when I last saw him.
I do wish him well and good health.
She's been at our shelter since 2013. Eleven years. Every person who met her said she was wonderful. Every person walked past her kennel and chose a younger dog. She stopped coming to the front of her kennel a few years ago. Stopped performing. Made a quiet peace with being where she was." Last Tuesday a veteran came in. He said — "I need a calm dog. I'm still learning how to be still myself." I showed him three dogs. He was putting his jacket on to leave. He stopped outside kennel seven. Luna looked at him from her bed. Didn't perform. Didn't come to the front. Just looked at him the way she looks at people when she decides they're worth seeing. He said — "Can I sit with her?" He sat on the concrete floor at her level. Not the bench. The floor. That was 11am. At 3pm I looked in. He was still there. Her white muzzle was in his hand. Their breathing had synchronized. At 3:15 he came to the front desk and said — "I'd like to take her home. I think we need each other." I excused myself to the back room and sat on an overturned bucket and cried for a long time. He texted me yesterday — "First time I've slept through the night in three years. I think she was saving that for me." She was. Eleven years of saving it. For one Tuesday. For him. Drop a ❤️ for Luna. Share this for every senior dog still waiting for their Tuesday. They're saving everything they have for the right person to walk through that door.
As a lifelong Purefoods Magnolia fan, I can count the imports who truly impacted me on one hand. You’re one of them @chappy_hoops. Thank you, and good luck on your next journey!

Sonny was left behind by his old family. He waited but they never came back. He got sick but he never stopped waiting.
After saving him and building him back up we found Sonny a new family. Look at what it means to him now to belong somewhere again!
Ayun pala iyon. Ang galing mag-isip ng mga bata.😌
Seven dogs stolen from their owners have gone viral after escaping from an illegal transport truck and making their way home.
They traveled around 17 km together, led by a corgi across highways and fields, now safely back with their respective owners..🐶🐾🥺❤️
I was not feeling well. My son was not the most cooperative toddler. I found myself busy w spending time w and still do household chores. In the middle of washing the dishes,he stood beside me and start dancing in the tune of You Got a Friend in Me.
I know there’s a whole big world of bad news out there but please let me interrupt with a little check up on the dogs in the retirement village.
They’ve all just been fed and with the sun coming up have found their little spots for the day. ❤️
As the birds sing they’ll snooze
Panaginip kagabi: Nagiging close kami ni Ken Suson.
Weekend running.
First time to finish 5k postpartum. That's 5 years in the making!
Grateful to have the opportunity to run again.
Grateful for my hubby for supporting me.
