This week is Baby Loss Awareness Week. We will be encouraging people to tie a ribbon, either onto the railings or one of the trees at the front of the hospital. Please bring your own or collect from reception. You can also contact
@QEHMaternity and we'll add a ribbon for you.
@Nadnhs So sorry for your family loss; MEG was a wonderful man and he has been greatly missed at work in the past few months. Words can’t express, but I hope you know how respected and loved by his colleagues he was
@KayleighDarlin3 Thanks, I’m ok. You’ve played a massive part in my mental health and well-being over the last year, and I can’t thank you enough. Literally saying those words doesn’t seem big enough ❤️
So I’ve just seen the PM’s letter to NHS staff. And I’m so angry. And it’s 3am, and I’m crying.
Since the pandemic started, we have advocated for staying at home, wearing face masks, socially distancing, and getting the vaccines when they became available. We have worked day in,
on us. “This Goverment will do whatever it takes to give you the support you need” - except pay us in line with inflation, ensure safe staffing levels, make sure our hospitals are fit for purpose, follow their own lockdown and social distance rules.
Reason # 5718 why my nephew is my favourite person: When I put him to bed and he asked for a kiss, so I went to give him one, and he licked my eye. Kid is a weirdo ❤️
