Equally, I am running against @AndrewmitchMP because, I believe, he has whitewashed mass murder by the current government of Rwanda.

I am, I believe, the only candidate in this general election who has been to Rwanda, Gaza and Bakhmut (seven times).

None of that is a bit of a giggle.

That said, after canvassing the great people of Sutton Coldfield for the @libdems, I like a pint and a joke.

And that, in our democracy, is OK.

One more thing: don’t confuse solemnity with seriousness. I am a deadly serious about becoming the MP for Sutton Coldfield. But I love a laugh.
