Using this to request @picklesbaseball add bike parking and @PBOTinfo better connect bike routes along 82nd corridor, it’s atrocious from NE to Lents. If there’s a good greenway route it’s nearly impossible to find. #bikesummer
Bike summer in EPDX means trying to bike 3 miles to a large event, having zero bike parking when you arrive, and then getting trapped on unpaved roads and blocked intersections trying to get home. My bloody knee from an unexpected gravel road is salty.

There was just a high speed police chase with at least six cop cars chasing one truck all going 80 mph through our neighborhood streets that don’t even have sidewalks. If I had been walking my dog I easily could have been killed. How was that necessary?! https://t.co/XPhgM3q1hh
@hynkle @BikePortland I too see the value of the curb bump outs for ped visibility. Bike lanes and bump outs have been hard to integrate on other projects so I appreciate the attempt, but on this street I would likely just take the lane if biking, especially for the left on Tillamook.
I feel like charter reform and a transition to a more functional city govt is actually one of the best chances we’ve got to tackle Portland’s toughest problems.
In a few minutes we will be hearing from the city’s early transition plans. Wheeler says the transition “risks distracting us from Portlanders’ toughest problems” like homelessness and crime
@MaxSumner6 So you’re not going to delete a screenshot with hate speech to prove a point? You also posted it on the OW tweet. Just a garbage way to respond and force more people to be traumatized by awful language if you do actually think this is wrong even if you think it’s fake.
@MaxSumner6 Wild that your takeaway is that it’s sad people believe violent threats not that it’s sad people go around sending them. Would appreciate you deleting this screenshot from my page since it contains hate speech and threats.
I also heard it firsthand at the only other NA meeting I went to six years ago. Same exact answer to reasonable questions about ‘what can we do about X problem’. I am curious about how often police are the only city rep at these meetings.
I would like to see some analysis like this in Portland. The number of times I hear that police are saying to civilians ‘my hands are tied by city council/DA/M110 or that they were ‘defunded’…it’s almost every interaction regardless of issue. I heard it firsthand at a NA meeting
This should be a national scandal:
When Chesa Boudin took office, San Francisco police stopped working. Told people asking for help they were “powerless” bc of him. Then when they succeeded in ousting him: They went back to work. Nearly $1billion for this:https://t.co/yokerPPJWV
@sprecherbrewery@stevevance Thanks for your partnership on it! Love Sprecher. Stumbling across one of these while visiting Milwaukee was a highlight of the trip!
My brother was murdered by Jeffrey Dahmer. Here's what it was like watching the Netflix show that recreated the emotional statement I gave in court. https://t.co/PrSGdinjAI
@Intersection911 The publicly operated beer gardens in Milwaukee are an absolute treasure. Would probably need some OLCC reform as well to make them happen here, not a fence to be found at MKE beer gardens
