@MorriseyWV Seriously? How about calling for an END to all POLITICAL VIOLENCE? Let’s not forget all the incidents of political violence from Jan. 6th till now. Such an irresponsible statement. But no surprise coming from an irresponsible puppet governor.
Members of three regional amateur radio clubs contacted ham radio operators worldwide for World Amateur Radio Day (WARD) Saturday at Fort Boreman Park in Parkersburg.

Republican @cspanwj caller from New Mexico: "I voted for the president, supported him, but I really want to apologize. I'm looking at this awful picture of the Obamas. What an embarrassment to our country."
I welcome Governor Morrisey campaigning against me in the Northern Panhandle. He's about as popular here as the snow and freezing temps outside. He couldn't find us on a map. Have another glass of wine, gentleman from New Jersey. #wvpol
The specifics of Ford’s death are not well-published but at the same time there isn’t a mystery surrounding his death. The last year of his life, while spent for the most part in good health for a man in his early 90s, saw several visits to the hospital, beginning in late December 2005 due to a bad cold. A few weeks later, in January 2006, he was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia, spending nearly two weeks recovering. Ford rebounded and passed the first part of the year without a major health incident. In April, though, the once mobile and athletic former President now relied on a cane to get around. Come August, and halfway through summer, Ford was admitted to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for a major procedure: doctors performed a two-vessel coronary angioplasty and inserted a stint and a pacemaker. Back home in Rancho Mirage, CA, September came and went but October brought another trip to the hospital and a five day stay. At this point, Ford’s health, like the daylight of late fall and early winter, gradually faded away. Late December, his body began to shut down. Tuesday evening, December 26, surrounded by his family, he passed away at 6:45 PM while sleeping in his hospital bed in the study turned bedroom at his Rancho Mirage home. Before he passed, his son, Michael, an ordained minister, performed the Last Rites. CoD: cardiovascular disease complicated by arteriosclerotic cerebrovascular disease and diffuse arteriosclerosis.
In my old age, I find myself actively avoiding creating Twitter drama and snarky social media posts. But the young man I used to be sometimes still whispers in my ear.
I applaud @wvgovernor for bringing back the 6-year budget plan and being transparent about the budget situation.
As many of us have predicted, a huge budget hole is coming soon to WV.
I’ll withhold judgment on his proposed solutions, but his communication is a welcome change.
Democrat here who doesn’t agree with this comment and thinks this is part of the reason when we lose.
Becoming a great leader or a public servant is not dependent on higher education. Everyone has skills & experiences they bring to table and all have value.
@PhilKabler ... and the longest-serving elected official in West Virginia history had a bachelor's, a law degree and a Klan membership.
Maybe we should judge people based on actual knowledge and wisdom rather than simply credentials.
@PhilKabler Phil I genuinely enjoy you and your reporting. However I find this post a little below you. A college education isn’t an indicator about how much you want to love and serve your state. Do better.
