Today, my friend found the body of his neighbor buried and decomposed. He had been injured and bleeding for three days during the last evacuation from northern Gaza.

When he realized he wouldn’t survive and that no one could reach him, he covered himself with soil and buried himself while in prostration. Now, his bones were found in that same position.

His body was discovered beside a tree he chose as his final resting place. He left a sign for his family — his ring tied above the soil with a string, along with a small branch from the tree, so they could find him.

The Russian oil tanker Anatoli Kolodkin has arrived in Cuba, where it is currently awaiting unloading at the port of Matanzas, according to the Russian Ministry of Transport.

The vessel is carrying approximately 100,000 tons of #oil classified as humanitarian aid; this is reportedly the first arrival of an oil tanker on the island in three months.

The move comes after the United States pressured #Venezuela and #Mexico to reduce or halt energy supplies to #Cuba

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.

This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war.

Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons.

I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late.

Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. I'm an American trauma surgeon. One year ago today I was volunteering at Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza when Israel fired a missile into the room of my 16-year-old patient, Ibrahim Barhoum. The missile killed him instantly. If it had hit the room 90 seconds later it would have killed me, too. Today the US and Israel are still blocking medical supplies from entering Gaza, and are repeating the assault on hospitals and healthcare workers across Lebanon.
