Haven't been on here in a minute. Here's a quick update:
Got married. Just celebrated our one year anniversary.
Started a new job in tech. Slowing down on the "learning to code" journey because I'm working in the field I wanted to work in.
Still pursuing God above all.
@SummrWrites Just wanted to share that I have felt this sentiment for YEARS. The trend of being a hyper introvert, not wanting to return calls/texts, and being excited when plans are canceled because you don't want to be bothered has always weirded me out. We should want to be in fellowship.
Day 2 cont'd: I ate ramen for my first meal and regretted it: no protein so I was still hungry. I didn't want to work out but I did, and I felt better for doing it. I finished the day in a calorie deficit and made myself move. Go me.
Today was my second day of intentional exercise and body movement. Here's how it went:
I had way too much caffeine the day before and could not sleep. I woke up anxious and unprepared. I didn't feel my body stop being anxious until about an hour before my shift ended.
Honestly one of the reasons I'd like to be a software developer is a purely vain one.
I'd like to stop having to remove my piercings for work.
My piercings make me feel like myself.
