Anthropic pays $750,000+ a year for engineers who can build LLM architectures from scratch. Stanford taught the entire thing in 1 hour lecture & released it for free.

Forget lidar.
One single camera.
Runs in real time & is open source:
A streaming 3D model that reconstructs scenes live, at ~20 FPS, over long sequences.
End-to-end.
Optimization tricks, cleanup steps?
Nope.
And it beats both streaming and even some offline methods.
Perception is becoming software-first.
Closer to machines that see and understand the world as it unfolds.

My Source 2-like probe system + light baking for UE5 is pretty much done now fully.
As seen in the video, with the right volume setup you can have super thin walls without light leaking. Plugin releasing in like a week, after my vacation.

day 608: ! built a fake real-time GI system for my game and it cost almost nothing to run! The warm sunset light wrapping under the car is not baked, not a probe volume, not a reflection capture. here is how it works 🧵 #buildinpublic#indiegamedev#unity3d
A useful depth-buffer trick: combine depth masking with a bump offset function to project sprites onto geometry and preserve scene depth.
Works well for fake lighting, UI indicators, impact effects, and character damage overlays #realtimeVFX#UnrealEngine#gamedev#vfx
In many cases the children are unable to register what is happening to them from the shock, and end up dying from the shock and not the injuries themselves. As you file your taxes in the US/EU, remember where they are going.
This is wild.
NVIDIA just dropped MotionBricks at SIGGRAPH 2026.
This AI makes game characters and robots move with 350,000+ motion skills.
15,000 FPS. 2ms latency.
1. Smart locomotion - Characters can now switch movement styles on the fly.
