@philchadwick64@ILoveSnooker_ Yes, Alex Higgins also played in the late 60's with the old crystalate balls - made from a base of animal bones a good few years before they were replaced by the super crystalate ones. All those balls were an uneven weight and far inferior to the modern balls. He was the pioneer.
@paulgudj That winning one frame makes it suspicious. Even his frame 1 win was dubious, he missed a simple frame ball then incredibly went straight in off across the table getting out of the snooker - that red was unmissable going off the short side, as Ken Doherty said in commentary. Odd.
