Decido publicar sobre lecturas creyendo que encontraría una comunidad sana, y me encuentro con ego, complejo de superioridad y soberbia. NO importa lo que leas, importa cómo te relacionas con eso, y con los gustos ajenos.

gente eu super defendo que a literatura é um hobby e um momento de descontração etc.

mas me assombra que as pessoas não possuem capacidade cognitiva pra absorver leituras mais sérias e com temas mais pesados

Si lees prensa local, revistas, libros clásicos, en Kindle o en físico, mi respeto lo seguirás teniendo. El hábito lo tienes, el “buen gusto” está sesgado por muchísimos factores. No tengas miedo a expresar tus gustos literarios por eso.

Leo, no indago sobre la vida del escritor. Si me gusta la lectura, sigo consumiendo más del autor. El problema es que quieren complicar, politizar o dividir en bandos todo lo que tocan. No se tomen la vida tan en serio.

@tryannotate @starzreads My favorite books are the entire Arthur Conan Doyle series. I love mysteries, detective stories, the whole genre.
If I had to pick just one, it would be "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes."
