One of the reasons “consider 3rd attempt at thoracocentesis in 5th ICS MAL” - in Pre-Hospital care (particularly using the pneumofix) scares the absolute pants off me. Real possibility of causing catastrophic harm if landmarking and technique isn’t spot-on.

@AronJRoberts Definitely agree CRM needs to be further pushed in healthcare. Whilst it’s been in medicine for a few years following the sad EB case, there’s still a lot of work to do especially in the ambulance services. It’s part of our yearly currencies, should be the same for all HCP probs!

Was great to see lots of friends from across the whole of @SJACymru at #ColdplayCardiff last night! A great team of Nurses, Paramedics and Doctors as well as a huge team of highly skilled first aiders.
