Brilliantly captured. This is Tampere University, Finland, with a Huawei Building right inside it. This university is also heavily funded by Nokia to research 5G/6G and other communications technologies.
It’s not a mistake that these companies fund the universities. It is not charity. We must do a lot more from Nigeria. Our tropical region has so much to offer to the world. Research is not an option. For strong engineering to happen at scale, our universities must come alive. This will create strong startups across different industry verticals.
