All applications will be considered, and previous experience in microbiology, biotechnology, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry is an asset.
As a Master’s or PhD student in applied environmental microbiology, you will:
Lead a research project focused on optimizing organic matter transformation during on-site composting.
Characterize and modulate the active microbiota to increase bioconversion efficiency of organic residues.
Contribute to reducing greenhouse gas production in the composting process.
Collaborate with a large interdisciplinary project team and numerous partners in the field.
Access training and networking opportunities in an idyllic working environment at the Montreal Botanical Garden.
