Join our hands-on "Observability with Micrometer & Spring Boot 3 + 4" pre-conference workshop with @jonatan_ivanov & @TommyLudwig
The Micrometer team will begin releasing milestones and release candidates to Maven Central starting with our next release in February. This will ensure we remove any obstacles users might have accessing our artifacts earlier in the release cycle and allowing quicker feedback.
Have I mentioned we released Micrometer 1.14.0? 🚀
- OTLP Exponential Histogram
- Virtual thread metrics
- Observation API call history and validation (way cooler than it sounds) 😎
And so much more!
Grab now or get it with Spring Boot 3.4.0 next week!

If you are using @micrometerio's TestObservationRegistry, we are adding some extra validation to it so that it can tel you if your observation lifecycle is invalid (started/stopped twice, stop before start, etc.): https://t.co/mn4NQOIH3L

Is there anyone who is still using the CloudWatch registry in @micrometerio with AWS SDK v1? We are considering removing it in the next minor release under the assumption everyone can and has had enough time to migrate to the v2 module.
