Now tracking Umbrae on Base.
@Umbrae_Ignis introduces two liquidity engines:
DLMM concentrates liquidity into precise price bins for tighter spreads and sharper capital efficiency; DAMM spreads it across a continuous curve for steadier, lower-touch positions. 👇
That's the thesis under everything Umbrae is building. Not a venue that lists anything with a ticker and lets users sort out the wreckage, but one built to filter for substance and keep the infrastructure clean.
The casino will always be open. Umbrae is building the other thing, the part meant to last. If you want to catch up on what else makes Umbrae unique, read more below👇
That philosophy is enforced at the level that matters: who can create a pool.
On most DLMM platforms, anyone can spin up a pool for anything. That's how you get fake pools with garbage prices designed to trap liquidity, fragmented duplicates, and griefing attacks that turn the interface into a minefield. Permissionless creation sounds free. In practice it's where a lot of the damage starts.
On @Umbrae_Ignis, swapping and providing liquidity are fully open to anyone, but pool creation is permissioned by design. Only authorized deployers can create them.
The benefit is direct: no fake pools, no manipulated-price traps, no fragmented liquidity. Every pool you see in the platform is factory-registered, properly configured, and legitimate. The openness lives where it should, in trading and LPing. The control lives where it protects you, in what gets built.
First, the problem it's answering. The damage to crypto isn't speculation itself, that's always existed and always will. It's when extraction becomes the whole economy, when narrative-driven gambling crowds out the projects actually building things people use. Real infrastructure gets starved of attention and liquidity because a dog coin pumped that afternoon.
@Umbrae_Ignis answer is to curate for objective value deliberately.
Not "number go up." Things that exist independent of price. Products people use, infrastructure others build on, services that solve real problems. Because what gets built on top of an economy depends on what that economy chooses to support, and Umbrae is built to support substance.
Umbrae (@Umbrae_Ignis) is built on a simple bet that most of crypto gets wrong: that objective value, not hype, is what a healthy on-chain economy has to stand on.
Crypto has a casino problem. Most of what gets built isn't infrastructure, it's machinery for extraction, tokens whose only purpose is to go up until they don't. Umbrae is built to be the opposite of that. 🧵
$U1 is now officially updated on BaseScan.

Full token info (price coming soon), metadata, and on-chain activity all verified and live. One more layer of legitimacy locked in as we continue building on Base.
The work continues.
First shipment of mobile friendly is now live!!! You can now navigate the platform on your mobile browser and connect inside your wallet app on your phone.
Personally very excited for this!!
Umbrae v0.12.0 is live.
Full mobile support, a redesigned DLMM workspace, and more accurate token-WETH charts.
MOBILE
Umbrae now works across phone and tablet. Navigation, price charts, the leaderboard, and the university pages reflow cleanly to smaller screens. The DAMM order book is fixed on mobile. The nav logo, favicon, and background render correctly at every resolution.
DLMM WORKSPACE
The concentrated-liquidity page is a single workspace. A price chart stays put while you work, a swap panel sits beside it, and a tabbed layout covers positions, adding liquidity, swapping, creating a pool, and settings. A draggable watchlist snaps to either side. A built-in heat-map shows depth across price bins, with a Platform view aggregating depth across every pool.
LIVE TRADES
A TRADES tab streams the most recent swaps for the pool you are viewing.
CHART ACCURACY
Token-WETH candles are denominated against on-chain Chainlink history at each point in time, so each candle reflects the true rate at the moment it formed. Each watchlist pool shows its own current price. 24h volume, fees, and APR populate correctly on the pool header.

Umbrae's pool uses a volatility-based dynamic fee. Every swap carries a base fee plus a variable fee that scales with how much recent price movement the pool has seen. Since a sandwich attack works by pushing the price one way, letting a victim trade, then pushing it back, in Umbrae's DLMM those rapid back-to-back moves spike the pool's volatility, which raises the fee the attacker pays on both of their own swaps. That makes sandwiching economically unattractive rather than technically impossible.
A couple of things round it out: volatility decays over time, so fees return to baseline during calm trading — and there are safeguards in place to keep the system from being gamed.
The result is MEV mitigation through fee design: Umbrae's DLMM makes the common attack cost more than it earns. One less edge for the bots. 3/4 🧵
If you've ever had a trade fill at a worse price than you expected, MEV bots are often the reason. Most AMMs do nothing to stop it. Umbrae's DLMM is built so the attack usually doesn't pay off in the first place.
One more reason providing liquidity on Umbrae works in your favor — beyond just the lower fees. 1/4 🧵
Bottom line: most platforms treat MEV as your problem. Umbrae treats it as a design problem — and tackles it at the fee layer, so the math works against the bots instead of against you.
Lower fees, plus a structure that makes the most common attack a losing trade. That's the Umbrae advantage.
Missed the last post where I broke down the Umbrae advantage? Go give it a read. I'll be covering more of the platform soon — follow along if you want to learn how it works. 4/4 🧵

Umbrae v0.11.0 is live.
Pro-grade charting on DAMM, a rebuilt DLMM liquidity view, and smoother session handling.
LIVE BID/ASK SPREAD ON DAMM
The DAMM price chart now shows the live spread on the price axis, MT4/MT5 style — a green ask and red bid bracketing the active price, with the round-trip cost in basis points. The active-price line reads neutral between them.
MECHANICALLY-EXACT CANDLES
Sub-hour candles now track the true post-swap pool price: a sell prints red, a buy prints green, and the last candle meets the live price line. WETH/USD is anchored to Chainlink, so the chart, header, and trades tape all agree. The 5-minute chart loads up to 30 days of history.
DLMM LIQUIDITY DISTRIBUTION
The distribution chart now reflects a pool's real liquidity across its full populated range, with accurate min and max price bounds — depth where it actually sits.
SESSION RESTORE
If your session expires while your wallet stays connected, you re-sign to restore it. No disconnect-and-reconnect.
PLATFORM TERMS
Umbrae now has formal Terms of Service and an EULA, accepted with a wallet signature.

Umbrae v0.10.10 is live.
DAMM trades stream live now. Every metric across the platform got more honest. Five community-reported bugs fixed at the root.
LIVE TRADES FEED ON DAMM
The TRADES tab on /damm now streams new swaps in at the top of the table on a five-second cadence, with a brief green-on-buy or red-on-sell highlight as each row arrives. A LIVE indicator pulses in the header so the feed reads as active even during quiet windows. Scroll position holds when new rows prepend.
POST-TRADE DETAIL CARD
Every DAMM swap now closes with a full breakdown: exact amount paid and received, realized delta against the pre-trade quote, pool mid-price before and after with how far the trade moved the market, and updated wallet balances on both sides. Same visual language as the pre-trade simulation, so the round-trip from "what will this do" to "what did this do" stays consistent.
TRUE 24H VOLUME
The 24h volume metric in the navbar now reports a rolling 24-hour window with DAMM swaps folded in alongside DLMM. Pools without activity in the window contribute zero. No more stale snapshots inflating the total.
UX FIXES YOU REPORTED
Session-expiry now prompts to restore your session rather than asking you to sign in fresh. DAMM no longer double-prompts approvals. NFT Lock no longer requires a refresh after switching to Ethereum. Wrong-network prompts read as routine, not error.

Umbrae 0.10.1 is live.
Trade-tape intel on the U1/WETH market: pin any wallet to see their cost basis, realized vs. unrealized P/L, and whether they're still holding or have exited. Migration OGs are flagged, and you can now see when a holder has locked their U1.
Single-sided liquidity now sits on the correct side of price, and platform TVL includes locked U1.
