Christmas Mythic run from Plat, went quite smoothly, 39-12 over the 2 days. Izzet 4-8, I made mistakes there, but still 🤷‍♂️

It works in Explorer, it works in Standard 🤷‍♂️ I like the lower curve of the Explorer version but this was still a fun and smooth run to Mythic.

Duskmourn Draft was fun, this was originally my highest limited rank ever. Then Alchemy draft tanked it 😅 Switched to good old Domain for the constructed rank, it is (was by now?) still strong.
For November I'll probably switch to Explorer.

Nice way to close the year. Played a lot of Tarkir drafts, left the ladder late. Mostly used Historic Wizards (https://t.co/OTrS6KiqlR) and Standard Rakdos discover (https://t.co/nDsOErwWf2) which was fun for a change.

@AliaDeschain Bit mixed but overall I'm ok keeping 1 copy for now. Den was underperforming for me, 3R activation is a lot, Mutavault is more accessible. It's also a Wizard so it helps with Lightning and Flames. On the other hand, colourless mana sucks in the early turns. I wouldn't play 2+.

Not surprised this won the Championship, ~65% win rate / 150+ matches. Best pos was #16, mostly around #40-80.

@EnoraptorMTG @mtgazone Didn't feel any meta deck to be a bad matchup. Some aggro like Azorius Soldiers or Mono W are closer to 50/50, but haven't seen enough to tune more against them. Hard control, eg. Esper, can be challenging too but, again, not strongly represented.

Yep, Esper is still king a week later. Quick early run to mythic, smooth and easy, no struggles. I saw a nice diversity of decks so sideboard is more of a toolbox, to be tuned as the meta changes.

One loss was totally my fault, I misplayed multiple times. The other was on the draw against a removal heavy Grixis.

Forgot to post this a week ago. Not really a huge invention, just added Breach besides Fable in my Boros Midrange. So basically a less consistent Mono White with higher ceiling.
