Compiled a binary today with the fix for the crash when undocking the sdrsharp.scytalec plugin window: https://t.co/FX7slIkxAU The UI will install automatically when pressing its button on panel. #scytalec
@rtlsdrblog When I ordered it, years ago, it was based on the picture. The picture is misleading as the dish comes in 3 petals. Always a question mark oh how well you align them.
My spectrometer getting a bit better. Replaced the 1.7G boom for GOES, with the 1.4G boom for Inmarsat on the grid Nooelec antenna. Still unsure of the vertical scale units, however the difference (ppmax - rms noise) is definitely bigger using the Inmarsat boom: 18 vs. 13
Faint but clear H1 line. Nooelec antenna (the one in the GOES Weather Satellite RTL-SDR Bundle) looking straight up, Nooelec SAWbird+ H1 on bias-t, 10m RG58, RTL-SDR Blog V3 R860 (R820T2), SDR# + IF-Average plugin.
@uber_security Funny that, eh! And to think that all the setup nowadays is the equivalent of climbing a tree with a diode and a headset just a few short decades ago.
@alpha_adhito The averaging pluging can save at configured intervals the fft data into files, each file containing an id and rows of frequency and power, one row per bin. I imported (one per hour) manually in Excel and manipulated the data in there as well.
I am looking for a source of plastic sheets/rolls. Looking for UV and abrasion resistant, flexible at low temperatures, non-brittle and transparent. 30m roll or longer. Both edges will need welding to create an envelope. Thank you.
