Ignobilmente nota per le perifrasi, per la poetica delle frasi a caso e per aver spammato Dirk Gently all'Italia. || side acc: @threattrust || she/her, ♤
Can't find the tweet about Limbo that popped up on my home the other day but I'm so thankful that I read it, I didn't know Namasenda was coming back, WHAT A DEBUT LP
[ALBUM TALK: Why Arirang?]
Arirang secures its status as the definitive choice for the Album of the Year by daring to exist outside the industry's obsession with romantic sentiment. Across fourteen tracks, BTS bypasses the typical tropes of pop longing to construct a sprawling, cross-generational tapestry of the human condition.
By anchoring the project in the 130-year legacy of its namesake folk song, the group explores complex themes of cultural inheritance, the psychological toll of global visibility, and the friction between one’s public "hero" persona and their private, "normal" reality. It is a rare, multi-faceted work that prioritizes existential inquiry and collective resilience over the safety of a love song, proving that the most resonant art is often found in the exploration of the self and society.
OMG YOONGI YESTERDAY WAS WEARING A MARIA SABINA SHIRT. SHE WAS A REVERED MAZATEC PRIESTESS, POET, AND HEALER FROM OAXACA IN MEXICO. SHE WAS KNOWN AS A SABIA(WISE WOMAN) WHO DEDICATED HER LIFE TO HEAL THE SICK THROUGH NATURAL REMEDIES. HER GLOBAL IMPACT TRANSFORMED BOTH MODERN SCIENCE AND WESTERN CULTURE, UNINTENTIONALLY LAUNCHING THE "PSYCHEDELIC RENAISSANCE."
OMG THIS IS SO WHOLESOME🥹🫶
Eva Everett Irving, played Tasha on “The Pitt”.
“I loved playing Tasha, in part because Noah Wyle’s writing was so true to my own lived experience, especially those 1st years having to travel with a male passport.”
“When all else fails, just say M stands for Mujer, so chin up.”
Listening to kiss facility live yesterday in Milan FOR FREE was one of my best experiences of concerts so far (I managed to be in the front row but I didn't feel like I was in a very crowded place), it was worth the long wait!!
I hope the volume of the backing tracks gets fixed in the future though because very often it was louder than Mayah's :( (this is what the recording of the concert won't tell you)
since amygdala has rightfully reentered the discourse, consider the sheer narrative brilliance of yoongi in amygdala repeating "i don't know your name" and then proceeding to peel back his personas, agust d, suga, through his tour to get to and free, to resurrect, min yoongi.
