🚨Anthropic Adds Fable 5 to Premium Plans with 50% Usage Limit

Anthropic team announced today that starting July 20, its Claude Fable 5 model will be included as a standard feature in Max and Team Premium plans at 50% of usage limits. Pro and Team Standard users will keep access through usage credits and receive a one-time $100 credit to ease the transition.

Anthropic said demand for Fable 5 was difficult to predict, so it rolled out access to subscribers in stages while adding more server capacity. Demand was higher than expected, so it couldn’t offer unlimited access right away.

⚠️ JUST IN: UK National Crime Agency Releases Arrest Footage of Owen Flowers and Thalha Jubair

The UK’s National Crime Agency has shared videos of the arrests of Thalha Jubair (aka Operator) and Owen Flowers (aka Holy), who stole tens of millions of dollars through ransomware attacks.

They both pleaded guilty to the attacks last month and were today sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in prison each.

Authorities say Jubair was also convicted of refusing to provide the PINs and passwords for devices seized from him.

X Will Become Open Source!

@elonmusk has officially confirmed that X will make its entire platform codebase open source after the team completes reviewing it for security vulnerabilities.

With a fully open-source codebase, users and developers will be able to study X’s inner workings and algorithms, develop third-party tools, extensions, build custom clients and alternative front-ends, create more powerful bots, report bugs, and even use the code for their own projects.

Once we have completed our review for security vulnerabilities, we will make the entire codebase of 𝕏 open source, with no exceptions.

🚨 Doxbin Admin “KT” Has Been Sentenced to 2 Years in Prison

Callum Dare, a Doxbin administrator known as “KT” and @/doxer on Telegram, has been sentenced to two years and three months in prison in Wales.

According to court documents, he encouraged and assisted others in carrying out swatting attacks. Authorities say he was caught after linking information to his personal PayPal account, which revealed his email and home address.

According to his defense lawyer, he has autism, ADHD, and a borderline low IQ. He pleaded guilty to encouraging and assisting swatting attacks and was sentenced today, July 15.
