Well done to @MarieKeating for raising awareness for Lung Cancer Awareness Month
It’s unacceptable that these children & families have no access to respite care.
There’s no afterschool or overnight respite for children under eight & no home support available. Families in Dublin South & Kildare deserve better. We can’t allow this crisis to continue.
Yesterday MLHR Martina was at St Anne’s Park Dublin City Farm, visiting MLHR Donkey Millie & Goat Woody, they have both lived at the farm for nearly 3 years. Beautiful animals there, so happy and so well cared for.
We met the lovely Councillor @DeirdreHeney at the City Farm, Deirdre is a huge animal activist, she has been a big part of a lot of positive changes for animals within @DubCityCouncil and beyond. Thank you Deirdre from MLHR ANIMALS & HUMANS, you have our vote 💖
Ask the question before Fridays voting, “what’s your stance on animal rights”
☕ Thank You, Inchicore!
Great discussions at Bera Hall on anti-social behaviour, a non-denominational secondary school, and refurbishing the library.
Special education and carers remain my top priorities.
Please contact my office if I can help.

"Parents, like me, should not have to fight so hard for what should be a very basic right."
General Election Candidate for Dublin South Central, @cardagh talks about the struggle to find a school place for her son Darragh, and how she wants to be a voice for families like hers in Dáil Éireann.
The principal, teachers and SNAs of St. James’s Primary School are doing fantastic work, the kids were so happy.
We spoke of the need for investment for additional therapies and capital investment.
That visit will stay with me for a while, thanks to @cardagh for the invitation.
“There’s no guarantee that my son will get a place.”
Fianna Fáil Senator @cardagh highlights the challenges her family is facing in trying to secure a school place for her autistic, four-year-old son, Darragh.

"I've always prided myself on being the person who speaks for those who cannot advocate for themselves. In this instance, it's my own son, who also happens to be non verbal. Were I not to raise this matter, I wouldn't deserve to be here today."
Senator @cardagh
