saw a post listing out mike’s “queer coding evidence” and most of the points hinder on will’s canonical queerness and the intentional hints about it. you wouldn’t be analyzing every minute detail without will’s story including it first.
it is funny when people act like canonical mike wheeler has much substance. the duffers spent so long making a self insert that when they saw enough of themselves, they left him as a shell. if you shook him, he would sound like 3 quarters and a button in a piggy bank.
i only tolerate him because will loves him. and will deserves everything he wants. even if that is a cardboard cutout tapped to a piggy bank with three quarters and a button.
@himegimi69 the funny thing is that she acts like she’s moderating what her followers ages 15-18 can see but every post of hers is nsfw in some capacity
seeing leah operate under a different account while she was deactivated bc she was called out for comparing her petition to ending segregation and women’s suffrage, saying eds are a choice, and saying fixed dynamics isn’t actual queerness
@ceeyoulaterrr frankly, it’s telling that this is the one thing you reply to instead of the people asking for you to address your use of and justification to use a lesbiphobic and racist slur
@ceeyoulaterrr past tense but also “for the longest time”. and you had enough of a suspicion that it became relevant enough to bring up now. and even if YOU didn’t name anything, you let your 6.7k followers do naming for you in vague replies and dms. that’s how ttmd was brought up
don’t say mike is bi or doubt lwg in your presence but let’s create an open forum to hate on fics “because [you] respect that fic writers give us content for free”
so many trends that go around are just genAI and people, who are supposedly anti-AI, just do it because it’s so fun and cutesy. that google AI overview trend is still genAI. that profile theme analyzer is genAI
locking down bc, while i’m glad people agree, that post is getting too much attention and could very well breech containment. and i’m too employed for a post to blow up, and inevitably spark hate, while i’m asleep.
but there is a problem where some people think content is too far and they’ll engage with it negatively and police it. i’ve seen d/s fics get called pedophilia. i’ve seen mascfem explorations get called heteronormative and misogynistic and fetishization.
and for example, i think too many people think d/s dynamics is merely “x tells y to do z, and y does it.” but then actual d/s dynamics, bdsm, and kinks get explored and it’s considered taboo and people pull out buzzwords to hate on it and shame it.
i am worried this is going to be misconstrued so i do want to clarify that this is my observation and my opinion of SOME of the fandom. hard limits and boundaries are perfectly reasonable and necessary when it comes to nsfw content.
