@JakeVigdor It would be sad that the findings translate into punishment for people without power *more than* for people with power. I'd say start from finding out if people at the top participated in such behavior. Then, one can talk about job market candidates.

@wwwojtekk That addresses future users. What about past users? For the specific case of economists, universities can easily find out IP addresses of their faculty and students, and match them with the ones identified by the paper. Then, disciplinary actions should be taken.
