TikTok is on fire after an influencer allegedly spent more than two years pretending to be a student in Duke University’s Physician Assistant program.

Angel Victoria Murdock reportedly documented her supposed journey as a Duke PA student, building a huge online following, landing brand deals, and even appearing on a Netflix reality show.

According to people who investigated her claims, she went to extraordinary lengths to make the story look authentic, wearing scrubs in videos, purchasing medical equipment, driving to Duke’s campus just to film content before driving back home, and even having fake badges made to feature in her videos.

Things reportedly began to unravel when an actual student in the program congratulated Murdock online for being part of the PA program. The student reportedly said she had never seen or heard of Murdock being in the program and was blocked within minutes.

Then, over the course of the semester, other students reportedly started noticing something strange. None of them had ever seen Murdock, not in class, on campus, or at program events.

The biggest twist came later. After going quiet for a while, Murdock posted “graduation” photos in front of Duke Chapel, complete with a cap and master’s hood. People quickly noticed that the colors appeared to be incorrect.

That prompted even more digging.

According to those investigating her claims, Murdock does not appear to have a NCCPA certification number in North Carolina, where she allegedly claimed to be certified. The entire two-hour Duke hooding and graduation ceremony was also available online, with graduates called in alphabetical order. Her name was never called, and she does not appear to have walked across the stage.

After Murdock was exposed, her social media accounts, which had hundreds of thousands of followers, were reportedly deleted.

White 56-year-old husband and father Fredrick Lytton was working alongside Black 23-year-old Devin Rice at a U-Haul facility in West Nashville.

You already know how this ends.

The two men were reportedly arguing about a soda when Fredrick Lytton turned and walked away from the verbal dispute, returning to his work station. Moments later, Devin Rice walked up behind Lytton, pulled out a handgun, and emptied it into Lytton's back, killing him.

Point blank murder, on the job, in broad daylight, over an argument about a soda that Lytton had already walked away from.

Just look at young Devin's angel face. Who could have possibly predicted that such a sweet boy would have such low impulse control?

It's been a week since this Black-on-White murder and, as usual, zero national coverage. Numerous local media have covered the story. Zero have published the White victim's photograph.

“WE’RE HERE TO LOVE YOU”: A Nashville police lieutenant saved a man preparing to jump from the Victory Memorial Bridge.

The man had been livestreaming his intention to jump into the Cumberland River when Metro Nashville Police Lt. Mike Hotz approached him.

Body-camera footage shows the lieutenant calmly speaking with the man, listening to him and gradually earning his trust.

“I’m not gonna try nothing crazy. I promise you to the Lord himself. Can I shake your hand?” Hotz asked.

The man stepped away from the edge and embraced the officer as he wept.

“I love you. It’s gonna be alright,” Hotz told him. “We’re here to love you, bro.”

Hotz previously served on MNPD’s Crisis Negotiation Team. He is also an Army infantry veteran who completed combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. He said his experiences with fellow veterans facing mental health crises helped him during the rescue.

After the man was safely placed in the care of officers and crisis counselors, it was reported that Hotz stepped away to pray and thank God for putting him in the right place at the right time.

THIS is what protecting and serving looks like. God bless Lt. Mike Hotz for refusing to give up on this man. He's an absolute hero.
