@sapphicssay Yes, the yearning part would be beautiful🥺. And later when they meet again, we will all feel the fire in their heart.
LINGORM ILF FINAL EP
#วาดฝันวันวิวาห์ตอนจบ
Okay finished watching, so let me put down the emotional damage for five minutes and attempt to have an intellectual thought. 😂
And to the followers who actually enjoy reading my little takes and analyses after every episode… here it is. ☺️
After watching ILF from beginning to end, I think the most interesting thing about this story is that it was never really asking, “Do Runch and Neen love each other?”
Obviously they do.
The better question was: “Is love enough to make a marriage work?”
And ILF's answer seems to be… not quite.
Love can bring two people together, but marriage demands more than feelings. It requires communication, boundaries, emotional maturity, the ability to protect your relationship, and perhaps most importantly, the willingness to choose each other when choosing each other is difficult.
Runch and Neen loved each other deeply, but they weren't always good at being married.
And I think that's where their conflict became meaningful.
Runch had to learn that loving Neen also meant standing up for their marriage and establishing boundaries. Neen had to learn that being a wife didn't mean continuously sacrificing herself just to preserve the relationship.
Neither of them was simply “the problem.”
They were two people who loved each other while still having a lot of growing to do.
Which is why I actually appreciated the separation.
They didn't just need time apart from each other. They needed time to become people capable of coming back to each other differently.
And when they finally did, that's what made the reunion work for me.
They weren't returning to the marriage they had.
They were choosing each other again with a different understanding of what that choice meant.
That, to me, is the real significance of the ending.
That said… I am contractually obligated to complain about one thing. 😂
I wanted one more episode.
Not because the ending was bad. I actually love the ending.
I just wanted the story to show its receipts.
We spent so much time watching their marriage unravel, so I wanted one more episode of watching them rebuild it. Give me the awkward conversations. The new boundaries. The little moments where we can actually see that they've changed.
Basically, I wanted the emotional footnotes. 😂
The finale gave us the conclusion; I just wanted a little more evidence for the thesis.
But ultimately, that's a pacing critique, not a rejection of the ending.
Because let's take what we get. 💜
And what we got was a hopeful ending that doesn't pretend love magically fixes everything.
A wedding is a promise.
Marriage is what you do with that promise after the wedding is over.
And perhaps ILF's most mature idea is that forever isn't necessarily the absence of separation.
Sometimes people have to lose each other, grow independently, and understand themselves before they can choose each other properly.
So no, ILF wasn't perfect.
Some arcs were rushed, some conflicts overstayed their welcome, and I will forever believe that one additional episode would've made the ending hit even harder.
But did Ling and Orm make me emotionally invest in these two fictional women to an unreasonable degree?
Unfortunately, YES, ALWAYS WILL. 😂😭
And that's ultimately what I'll remember.
Runch and Neen didn't get their forever because their love was flawless.
They got another chance at forever because they finally understood that love isn't just a feeling you have for someone, it’s a responsibility you choose to take.
So yes, I wanted more.
But I still love the ending.
Let's take what we got.
Because what we got was two people who lost each other, grew separately, and ultimately chose each other again.
And then came Uni. 🐶❤️
A little symbol of their new beginning.
That's what makes a happy ending beautiful, not that everything is suddenly perfect, but that after everything they've been through, they finally get to begin again.
