Thanks to those who have followed this account so far. This project will take time but it is one I am passionate about. I hope that I can get around 6 -12 artists split between the services to have their art displayed.
I have just launched a new Twitter account to promote a new project that I am really excited about. More details and plans will come online as soon as I can develop them. In the meantime please can you pass on to any colleague/former collleague who might be interested
An instagram account will follow shortly. We would be grateful if you could follow and promote this account. The project is to be completely not for profit and is being set up to compliment the charities who are out there looking after those need it
This is open to all the Emergency Services and we are looking for all types of art. The aim is to promote art as way of looking after your mental wellbeing and to showcase the talents of those who wear the uniform
The project is still very much in its planning stage but we hope to put on our first exhibition sometimes in early 2019. In the meantime if you know of anyone who serves or has served and who would be interested in taking part please let me know.
@stripeplus1 Figures show that accidents as a result of falling off have dropped significantly year on year and the extra wheel was no longer required. Any increase in accidents will be the result of poor operation of the 2 remaining wheels and not the previous removal of the 3rd.
@ColinHaigh791 @WYPDavidHarland Glad to see you are getting through it boss.
It's not just the stigma it's the 'i must carry on regardless' culture that we all seem to perpetuate. On the day of my breakdown, I still went and did a full days OST in the afternoon because it needed to be done.
Made the tough decision to hand in my resignation this week. Best wishes to all my colleagues thought the UK and further afield. Stay safe and look after each other
