Ending 2020 with a small pension, limited savings and realising that I'm going to be working till >65 years at the going rate was eye opening.
So I gave myself 5 years to sort my finances out and leverage ways to retire way before that. (1/5)

Why, and what I've learned. Thread
1) It wasn't tax efficient. Only after my £20k pa S&S ISA limit was reached should I have even considered it.
2) Unless you have time, and are financially savvy, don't pick stocks.
10) Don't try and time anything.
11) Automate; take both the hassle and emotion out of the process
12) Budget, and be honest with how much you can invest and realistic with what this can achieve in your timeframe
@AdamFinCoach I've ran two service based businesses before, both operating with 45 mile radius.
1) "Area" Fencing
2) "Area" Environmental
Both seemed to work well for search engines, memory and carry a bit of local kudos
@WayBudo 2) Pharma companies don't 'prescribe'- that's clinicians based on risk/benefit in most instances. So I assume you infer that the medical profession as a whole acts under undue influence of pharma Co's?
@WayBudo 1) Products are benign? They include some of the most biologically active substances- carcinogens, reproductive toxicants, addictive and environmental potent. Or do you mean you don't believe in their efficacy.
