@GlueGobs Iβve also heard of teachers giving parents/guardians a blank note card to write their student a quick note of encouragement. The teacher gave them to students throughout the year when they needed them most.
@GlueGobs Parents really loved getting something tangible that day. I made a syllabus brochure about our classroom, ways to contact me, schedule, a typical day in class, supply list, etc. I also had a QR code up in multiple places to get some quick info from parents (like emails).
Itβs Friday so letβs get these lists cleared over the weekend.
