The Seattle Art Museum (@iheartSAM) will present Ai Weiwei’s 1st US retrospective in more than a decade. “Ai, Rebel: The Art and Activism of Ai Weiwei” will show more than 100 artworks made between the 1980s and the 2020s, the largest-ever in the US and his first solo in Seattle.

Having a short break between jobs I am out doing weekday errands in the morning for the first time in years. It’s so nice. People talk with you, very few lines, less rushed, can actually get help when you need it. It’s like a hidden alternate reality.

Our annual #fireworks display is cancelled this year for obvious reasons.

Actually we don’t have an annual fireworks display because we’re a historic home in the middle of a neighborhood and that would be nuts.
