Life humbled me quick asf💯 these days I work and go home. I appreciate everything I have more and more because at times I had nothing. When I reflect on my life. God has carried me, delivered me and most of all never left me. I’m gonna continue to strive for what’s best for me🙏🏼
It doesn't stop to ask if you're ready. It doesn't wait for you to heal. You either learn to carry your PAIN or you let your PAIN carry you.
Stay steady mind🧌
Life doesn't break everyone the same way. Some people lose their parents. Some lose their dreams. Some lose years to fear. Some lose themselves trying to make everyone happy.
The painful part is that life keeps moving away
Those of you that lost your parents when you were young, how did you survive the trauma of growing up without a parent when you see others with theirs. Even as an adult you need your parents.
I really don't know how you guys did it. It is well
After my father’s death, death didn’t seem like a big deal any more. No matter the person, I just don’t feel as shook as before.
In my mind, anyone can die.
Do you feel the same way now after someone close to you died?
Privilege is such an interesting thing I often find myself thinking about. We do not ask for the life we have, and that is why I'm very mindful of it. You often find it a lot in my writing.
Last week, my cleaner told me on Monday(2 days ago) was her birthday. I asked her what age we are celebrating and she said 33. Epiphany hit me that my agemate is my cleaner. I wore a wry smile as I nodded my head and told her to remind me on Monday so she could get her gift.
I then went to my room to deal with the epiphany of privilege. In another universe, that could easily have been me.
