Midgard

Optimistic Rollup Layer2 | Dedicated to scaling Cardano | Built by @anastasialabs | There is no token | Ticker is $ADA

[Angry Crypto Show @angrycryptoshow]

JUST IN Input Output says "Midgard, an optimistic rollup tailored to EUTXO, with its technical specifications already open-sourced, is targeting a mainnet-ready MVP by the end of 2025." Midgard is a Layer-2 protocol designed to enhance the scalability of #Cardano $ADA's Layer-1.

We at Sundial Protocol are gearing up! 📐

Over the coming months we'll have some major features built-out and demo'd for users to engage with.

However, in the name of full transparency, we must caution that there may be some delays and speed-bumps!

Come along with us! 🚀

🔦 Project Highlight: @midgardprotocol

Scaling governance and scaling dApps go hand in hand.

That’s why we’re excited about what Midgard is building! A tokenless Layer 2 using optimistic rollups to bring throughput and efficiency to Cardano.

No bridges. No chain switching. Just ADA, smart contracts, and trustless execution. 🔥

Clarity supports infrastructure like this because better tooling means better DAOs and collaboration!

[Rare Evo: A Blockchain Event @RareEvo]

Rare Dev/Gov Days happens just before #RareEvo25

Join us the evening of August 6th for a meet-up, followed by a full day on the 7th of programming from the builders—for the builders.

@phil_uplc from @AnastasiaLabs talks about @midgardprotocol and how they are scaling via L2's

[Jon Kravetz @CSWAP_Destroy]

There's a lot to be excited about when it comes to Cardano layer 2s, native $BTC DeFi, and side chains!

If you want to be EARLY 👀, Cardano is about to level up....

2/ Next-Gen Scaling: Leios & Midgard

The upcoming Ouroboros Leios upgrade promises ~11,000 TPS through parallel block input, revolutionizing scalability. Complementing this, @midgardprotocol , an optimistic rollup Layer 2 solution, leverages Cardano's Extended UTXO model to offer a truly decentralized scaling solution without centralized sequencers or custodians (first of it's kind in the space).
