I’d vote for a politician who just told it to me straight: it’s bad, it’s going to get worse, it’s going to cost a lot and take a big combined effort, we’re going to need everyone to do their part, get your bootstraps ready.
The f*ck your feelings crowd really needs to take some classes on how to deal with their emotions.
Though, I do wonder how much Mattel is making off of them as they buy their toys just to destroy them because the doll movie hurt their feelings.
I know the stats. Police kill Indigenous People at a higher rate than any other ethnic group in Canada. The jails are overflowing with Natives @ an alarmingly high rate. RCMP have lagged in investigating MMIWG cases. I’ve witnessed violence towards land defenders. I’ve had police lie to me in court documents & they were proved wrong. This was a stunning moment yesterday when RCMP arrested Uncle Rico carrying her body towards machinery that was coming to tear down the blockade she helped lead to save old growth forests. The army of cops, the helicopter & drones, machinery. Those scenes encompassed an extraordinary amount all in one.
@ABDanielleSmith Are you aware that Canada's target is net-zero by 2050, Premier? Minister Guilbeault has not pushed an economy-wide net-zero target for Canada by 2035, nor do the Clean Electricity Regulations force net zero electricity by 2035. If you are aware, please stop lying to people.
I'm Canadian and I never wanted or asked him to do anything for me. How is it people are struggling but expected to pay for someones legal fees? If you break your own societal laws then you should expect the consequences. NO!? Well there's the grift.
I’m thankful for the pushback of reporters like Ms. Graney and Ms. Griwkowsky. We’re going to need to see a lot more of that from all media as Dani tries to retcon her purely ideology-based idiocy and gaslight us.
~This is climate change. The UCP fight everything to try & slow it (the carbon tax, the moratorium on renewables just for starters) When they suffer the consequences of their actions they expect Ottawa to fix it. I'm with the feds. AB voted for this mess

@CalgaryOccupy How many called for return of coal mining and destruction of mountain and foothills rivers? How many didn't give a care to limit their irrigation draw to help mitigate? How about fish habitat destruction? Just keep denying climate change. Burns BABY Burn.
@validmavericity@CBCEyeopener The Nose Hill one was from someone who has no idea about how valuable a wide protected area of native prairie is. People like that should just stay home where they feel safe.
Silly guy!
@MichaelChongMP 40 years of neoliberalism has made the housing crisis, and no political party is prepared to do what’s needed to fix it. Your party’s leader wants to build banlieues on the fringes of Toronto. I wonder how that’ll work out?
