Of course it was. Because this was another lawsuit filled with nonsense.

Another orchestrated smear campaign and shameless PR attempt.

I never wanna be as wrong as the person who told Drake he would never be as big as Trey Songz. That’s a different type of wrong.

🚨BREAKING: Drake ‘Janice STFU’ Copyright Lawsuit Dismissed🪓

Not scared of no suit or no tie🧊

[Ak @AfroditisCurse]

Looking back, why did he act like Drake did something to the Black Community? Like why did Kendrick drag the whole west coast in his beef? In retrospect you can tell this was a setup lmao

@AkademiksTV @iXactualfacts Glad people starting to see why ‘Make Them Know’ is so goated

A high-profile lawsuit that accused Drake of stealing the chorus of his chart-topping single “Janice STFU” has been abruptly dropped by the accuser less than two weeks after it was filed.

@billboard Every lawsuit filed against him since the battle ended has been filed by someone from LA. Drake was right when he said “I did more damage off a body blow”😭

@ComplexMusic @JayROB583274 And of course the loser who tried suing him is an La native😭

[Complex Music @ComplexMusic]

A producer’s lawsuit against Drake over his ‘Iceman’ track “Janice STFU” has been voluntarily dismissed.

According to court documents obtained by Complex, producer Aviel Hirschfield dismissed the lawsuit in its entirety without prejudice, meaning it could potentially be refiled. The circumstances surrounding the dismissal remain unclear.

Earlier this month, Drake’s representative denied allegations that the song’s chorus was lifted from Hirschfield, calling the lawsuit “manufactured and baseless.”

“Drake wrote this song and has no connection or knowledge of this person, full stop,” the rep said.
