@elonmusk Why not begin HW3 retrofit for FSD custs now, rather than wait til software utilizes it? Process will take many months, during which won't have feature already paid for.

@elonmusk @abhaygupta @royalflushGK 2 ppl went to buy same car same day in ‘18... T said beta EAP at $5k would be cheaper than waiting. One who didn’t bite can now get EAP+FSD for $5k total. One who spent $5k to be early adopter bc was promised better deal must now pay addt’l $2k to get to EAP+FSD (so $7k total).

But if you *are* giving them out, reward early adopters, not make them regret. Giving out inequitably sours ppl. Solution is free FSD to custs w/ EAP, & slight rebate & access to custs w/ FSD.
