Labour’s Palantir scandal.
Emails appear to show Peter Mandelson using his position to arrange access to government ministers for Palantir - the US military tech company with access to NHS Data.
We demand to know what access was arranged, what meetings took place, and what was discussed?
Hard to believe I’m even writing this.
Meteorological summer hasn’t even begun, yet Paris, France has already logged more days above 32°C (89.6°F) than its annual average.
Historians will look back and marvel at the patience and decency of a generation that was failed.
The evidence is out there for why living standards have fallen and inequality has risen.
The genie won’t go back in the bottle till the issues are resolved
Britain has the dirtiest rivers, the most expensive energy, the least reliable trains, the most overcrowded prisons, the worst access to healthcare and the widest gap between rich and poor in all of Europe. If you want a verdict on 40 years of neoliberalism, there it is.
It would be bad for public confidence if there was a suspicion that large corporate interests are buying access to the Government via the Tony Blair Institute.
My letter to the cabinet office. 👇🏼
Reform-led Durham council cut off funding to the annual Pride celebrations.
So trade unions launched a fundraiser to save it, eventually raising more money than was cut.
Which means this year's Pride will be bigger than ever.
In the 1980s, the LGBT+ community raised thousands of pounds to help striking miners and their families.
When we stick up for each other, we can achieve anything.
Hi @KemiBadenoch
Thought you might like to know a little history about water in the West Midlands.
Worked pretty well before privatisation.
Also, please stop breaking things and blaming others. Thanks

@carla_denyer Wishing you a full recovery, and thank you for being open about it. There should be no stigma.
It wasn’t something I knew how to handle, privately or publicly. It taught me compassion (and not to forget myself when extending compassion to others).
Here if I can help ❤️🩹
Today's Climate Change Committee report warns our way of life is under threat from heat, flooding, and drought. The Government must take concrete steps to protect people's lives and introduce a Climate Protection Unit in Number 10.
The far-right love shouting about “British values” until those values involve respecting others, tolerating differences, following the rule of law, or defending individual freedoms.
You know… the actual British values.
Despite it being obvious that the time of two-party politics is over, the govt laid out no plans to introduce a fairer voting system in the King's Speech.
That's why Green MPs tabled an amendment on the need to bring in proportional representation and make every voice heard.
Translation: A group of housemates split the rent on a multi-room house in which he has a room. In the same sense he travels in a 10 million pound vehicle (he takes the tube).
It’s Mental Health Awareness Week.
Awareness is vital - but real change takes action.
The Green Party reaffirms our commitment to ensuring major improvements in mental health care - so everyone can access the support they deserve, with dignity, when they need it.
I’m not sure @ZackPolanski was invited, sadly, despite being subjected to some vile antisemitic abuse.
Calling out discrimination should never be about what ‘team’ it comes from.
It’s incumbent on every party to root it out, wherever it arises, not just point at others.
The deputy leader of Reform was invited to speak at a rally against antisemitism the other day while the Jewish leader of the Green Party is vilified as an antisemite.
World’s gone upside down.
What we need is more people talking about the real reasons we are getting poorer:
- losing money on staying warm
- fed
- wages not keeping pace with prices.
Amazing work Hannah. Showing how @TheGreenParty is working for everyday people and the environment
