Before I reinvent the wheel... Is anyone aware of any short, punchy and dynamic videos about high risk medications and falls prevention? @MidlandsFalls
💓 Lying ➡️ standing B.P
🏥 It's not 'only' a nursing task.
💥It's a powerful & informative ax that integrates some much needed movement (a stand) into any interaction.
#AHPs need to consider ax it more often too.

Does anyone have a stat on the increase of falls risk in hospital compared to home? I'm looking for some sort of number or percentage... #ThinkFalls@falls_network@MidlandsFalls

Are you aware of the falls cycle? This is something people can get stuck in and may need help to build their strength/confidence to get out again… That short walk with your patient can help break the cycle! #FallsAwarenessWeek#ThinkFalls@falls_network@midlandsfalls
Time is precious, and something as simple as getting people out of bed in the morning can protect that time.
It helps patients get back to doing the things they love with the people they love.
Here's a very short video on some facts about deconditioning: https://t.co/rb5FkfDyAh
