@MidMNEDU Q1 - Undeestanding adult learning is something that I have not payed enough attention to in the past. I need to keep this at the front of everything I do now. My goals are to develop meaningful relationships and experiences = trust. #MidMNBookStudy#MidMNChats#TheArtofCoaching
@MsThornborrow@MidMNEDU#AdultLearning Making the learning applicable to teachers day-to-day experiences is something that I have shifted my focus to whenever I can. I still have to build and plan for 3 years from now but I now know that I need to look for that balance.
@MidMNEDU A2 An effective way to build trust is to offer and deliver support where it is needed and welcome. There are a lot of factors that go into knowing the when and where of such support - building culture, individual teacher preference, knowing the resources that are available, etc.
@MidMNEDU Tough question! There has been a shift in my position this year and it has me planning a lot of professional learning experiences for our certified staff. With that shift there has also been a shift in who trust & how they trust me. #MidMNBookStudy#MidMNChats#TheArtofCoaching
@MidMNEDU I think I need to really work on validation. Making sure that I recognize the great work that is happening and the great skills and experiences that we have while we continue to move forward.
@MidMNEDU#MidMNBookStudy#MidMNChats#TheArtofCoaching A4 We are looking at starting a second learning cohort for a big project and I think an agreement crafted along these lines would go along way to clarify the expectations and roles of the new group members.
