Day 5: DNA extraction from fruits
Yes, fruit share the same genetic blueprint as humans, and you will learn how to extract and observe DNA from your choice of fruit using common household supplies, such as dish soap and salt!

Day 4: Learn the science of viruses
Not all genomes are made of DNA! Choose an activity and explore what makes up a virus and learn how RNA viruses (like coronavirus!) can live on household surfaces and assemble more copies of their RNA genome.
