"That literalist interpretation ignores classical scholarship and the Prophet’s explicit teachings. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) explicitly said, 'Do not beat the female servants of Allah,' and never struck a woman in his life. Domestic abuse is utterly unacceptable, and taking verses out of context to rationalize violence against women contradicts the core spirit of Islam."
@Tironianae Can you please also show what the Catholic priests have done to the children who were in their care we should show the whole world what other religions also do so let’s not target only one
The Sanctity of Innocent Life: In Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:32), the Quran states that "whoever saves a life, it is as if he had saved all of mankind." Protecting innocent human beings—regardless of their faith—is a virtuous and noble act in Islam.
Standing Against Injustice: Islam commands believers to stand firm for justice, even when it means speaking out against those within their own community who do wrong (Surah An-Nisa 4:135). Calling out terrorism, torture, and the corruption of faith is an act of standing up for truth (Haqq).
Compassion for All Humanity: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught mercy toward all creation, emphasizing that a believer should be a source of safety and peace for others. Standing between harm and an innocent person—and being willing to shield them—comes from a place of ultimate selflessness and love.
"To anyone who ever wonders where I stand: As a Muslim, my faith teaches me compassion, justice, and the preservation of life. I want to state unequivocally that I do not support terrorism in any form, and I utterly reject the extremists—including my own Muslim brothers and sisters—who twist our Islamic faith to justify violence, torture, or the murder of innocents. They do not speak for Islam. But let me be entirely clear: I will never stand by and watch the innocent suffer. Whether someone shares my faith or comes from an entirely different religious background, I will stand as a shield to protect them—I would even take a bullet for an innocent person. Protecting the vulnerable is our highest duty, no matter who they are
@PushinDeRock@pippaisright Remember what was done to your people so please do not treat us as though we are all the same because I believe in my Islamic faith which forbids violence and the murder of innocent people I am against terrorism and I will repeat myself again and again
I condemn terrorism however we cannot tar people with the same brush because certain groups, individuals decide that the religion they hide and twist behind give them the right to murder and torture innocent people, I am of the Muslim faith and I do not and I will repeat myself I do not support the killing of innocent people
True potential isn't about who has the most backing—it’s about who gets the door opened for them when it matters most. Who else believes in creating space and opportunity for others? Let’s talk about it in the comments. 👇 #Opportunity#Inspiration#Mindset#HardTruths #GrowthMindset #RealTalk #SupportOthers
I wasn’t born in the year 620 CE, While these ages are firmly rooted in classical Sunni hadith collections, some modern historians and contemporary Islamic scholars have re-examined biographical clues—such as the age gap between Aisha and her older sister Asma, and historical timelines of early Islam—arguing that she may have been older (potentially in her mid-teens) at the time the marriage was consummated.
