@ariehkovler So the groveling was for nothing, basically? (Bc Smotrich didn't know how it would be calculated?) Or a prelude to new and more sophisticated groveling?
Friends just called from the car. They saw anti-deal protesters attacking Arab cars in Jerusalem on the Begin highway. They'd set up a sort of checkpoint and were harassing cars with Arabs, hitting them, trying to open the doors. The police didn't stop it.
@Adderabbi This particular song is also quite a dog whistle - it is common for right-wingers to sing it replacing מפלישתים with מפלסטינים at weddings etc
Chicago, in a way, is like a modern Stonehenge. The way is east to west, and the time is today. Today, and every equinox, the Sun will set exactly to the west, everywhere on Earth. Therefore, today in Chicago, the Sun will set directly down the long equatorially-aligned grid of streets and buildings, an event dubbed #chicagohenge. Featured here is a Chicago Henge picture taken during the equinox in mid-September of 2017 looking along part of Upper Wacker Drive. Many cities, though, have streets or other features that are well-aligned to Earth's spin axis. Therefore, quite possibly, your favorite street may also run east - west. Tonight at sunset, with a quick glance, you can actually find out.

@mikewinddale The particular facts of the case are one discussion, my point was more your scorn for the basic concept of monopolization. And on that I suspect that your priors about how markets definitely inherently work are sufficiently strong as to make discussion unproductive
@mikewinddale I mean maybe. Or else market power can be entrenched in a way that resists easy entry. One can argue the facts but acting like there's some inherent contradiction in the very concept of monoplization doesn't really hang together. (And this isn't a predatory pricing theory)
